April 17th was Equal Pay Day.  This date reflects the date it takes from January 1, 2011-April 17,2012 (473 days) for women to earn the same amount it takes a man to earn in one year (365 days).

advocacy, education and information." 

We are the voice of working women:

A group of business and professional working and retired women from all walks of life and levels of employment.  Women working together for pay equity, work-place equality, and self-sufficiency.

Our Purpose:

BPW of Upper Perkiomen chapter was chartered in October of 1947.  Part of a statewide organization, we are a member of BPW PA and as well as a member of District XI in Pennsylvania ( Montgomery, Bucks, Philadelphia Counties). 

BPW Upper Perkiomen is also affiliated on a national level with BPW Foundation.

Programs / Events

The programs we offer are Girl of the Month, Woman of the Year, Women in History, Educational Scholarships, Monthly Speakers, Fundraising Events, and Community Advocacy.  

Though raising funds on a local level is important there are many program offered through BPW PA and

the national BPW Foundation.  BPW is helping to strengthen the lives of women locally, statewide, and nationally.
