Equal Pay Day
April 2, 2019

Wear Red to reflect that women are in the "red" when it comes to equality in pay.  Women earn 79.6 cents to every $1.00 earned by men.  April 2nd isn't just 1 day but 457 days...the difference between what men and women are paid in the US. A woman must work 457 days to make as much as a man makes in 365 days.  For more information go to American Association of University Women.

9th Annual Women's Expo was held in March 2018
Another successful Women's Expo with over 40 vendors, a silent auction, and a Disney trip raffle.  The Upper Perkiomen YMCA swim team participated food and drinks.  Logan's Hero's dog rescue was a big hit for both the young and old.  There was information on Health and Nutrition, Wellness, Finance, Voter registration, Educational literature for kids, plus so much more.   Funds raised help support our local Non-profits and Educational Scholarships for women.  If you would like to participate with our 2018 event please contact Tina Thomas our president.
